John Michael Montgomery has turned an uncanny ability to relate to fans into one of country music's most storied careers. Behind the string of hit records, the roomful of awards and the critical and fan accolades that have defined his phenomenal success lies a connection that goes beyond his undeniable talent and his proven knack for picking hits. Since the days when "Life's A Dance" turned him from an unknown artist into a national star, John Michael’s rich baritone has carried that most important of assets--believability. Few artists in any genre sing with more heart than this handsome Kentucky-born artist.
It is readily apparent in love songs that have helped set the standard for a generation. Songs like “I Swear,” “I Love the Way You Love Me” and “I Can Love You Like That” still resonate across the landscape--pop icon and country newcomer Jessica Simpson cited “I Love The Way You Love Me” as an influence in a recent interview. It is apparent in the 2004 hit “Letters From Home,” one of the most moving tributes to the connection between soldiers and their families ever recorded, and in “The Little Girl,” a tale of redemption that plumbs both the harrowing and the uplifting. It is apparent even in the pure fun that has always found its way into John Michael's repertoire--songs like “Be My Baby Tonight” and “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident),” where John Michael's vocal earnestness takes musical whimsy to another level.
Before they were 20, Maddie & Tae accomplished things many artists never achieve. Speaking truth to power, they ignited a sensation with the self-penned BroCountry skewer “Girl In A Country Song,” named one of the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame’s “I Wish I Wrote That Song” Award-winners and the Song of the Year in the Nashville Scene’s Country Critics Poll. Its hilarious stereotype-flipping video won CMA Video of the Year. Touring internationally, they racked up gold, platinum and multiplatinum certifications.
Facing every turn, falter and crummy boyfriend with built-in back-up, they kept writing. They left a label, rebuilt their sense of how business works, took control of their music on a deeper level, recycling it all into their second #1 “Die From A Broken Heart.” It certified gold around the same time it hit Country’s Top 40, platinum by the time it summited the country airplay charts, and double platinum a few months later.
Growing into young women, who like so many other 20-somethings, were figuring out how to navigate the world, (re)build a dream, deal with life, they continued leading with their wide-open hearts.
Sassy. Kind. Audacious. Strong. Philosophical. Willing. Ride-or-Die.
Tyler Braden has the gritty powerhouse vocal, the expressive pen and the ability to deliver a lyric with complete conviction worthy of a headliner. Braden began crafting his sound as a teenager in Slapout, AL, where he demonstrated his mettle playing four-hour cover sets. He continued to perform between shifts as a firefighter in both Montgomery and Nashville; a set at the homegrown Whiskey Jam concert series in January 2017 paved his path to today. His Warner Music Nashville EP, Neon Grave, combines deep-rooted country tradition with the rollicking, high-energy instincts of a born rock ‘n’ roller.
The project’s flagship single, “Try Losing One,” hit No. 1 on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown. Braden is currently making waves with viral track “Devil You Know” – a won’t-back-down anthem that attracted 10+ million views across social media in just two weeks. In April 2024 “Devil You Know” hit the Country radio airwaves, and now touts a whopping 60+ million streams and over 45k ‘creates’ on TikTok for the sure-fire hit. With 385+ million global streams to his name, Braden is now taking stages world-round. After wrapping his first-ever headline tour (The Real Friends Tour), with five of the stops being SOLD OUT, the Alabama native will join Brothers Osborne on their Might As Well Be Us world tour with legs in the UK and Ireland in January 2025. Braden’s previous list of fellow artists that she’s shared the stage with includes Luke Bryan, Brooks & Dunn, Brantley Gilbert, Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley and Mitchell Tenpenny. With studio recordings that pack the punch of his propulsive live performances, Braden’s energy and emotion are connecting with fans across the world.
Brandon Lancaster is confident that we’re all going to reach the hilltop — we just have to keep going. LANCO convincingly deliver that message on their new album We’re Gonna Make It, the Nashville band’s follow-up to their Number One country debut, Hallelujah Nights, and their first for Riser House Records.
“Country music has always had a lot of pain in it,” says Lancaster, who founded the multi-platinum-selling band in 2015. “When I’m writing a song, I acknowledge that pain, but I also believe in restoration and redemption, and I wanted to explore that on this record.”
Over 14 tracks, Lancaster and his bandmates — multi-instrumentalist Jared Hampton, bassist Chandler Baldwin, guitarist Tim Aven and drummer Tripp Howell — dive into all facets of the human experience as they implore listeners to keep the faith. There are candid self-portraits, relatable tales of nostalgia, and love stories (both great and otherwise), all of them built around the acoustic strum and pulsing rhythm of one of country’s most eclectic live bands.
Jade Eagleson has made quite the mark on the international country music scene. Boasting 335M+ global streams and 130M+ views on YouTube since the debut of his self-titled album (2020), which holds 4 GOLD and 2 PLATINUM-certified singles, as well as the title of most globally streamed debut album by an internationally-signed country artist in history, Jade has also landed five #1s at Canadian Country Radio, 3 GOLD and 1 PLATINUM-certified track from his sophomore album, as well as another 2 GOLD-certified tracks and 1 PLATINUM-certified track on his third album, Do It Anyway.
These last few years have been unmatched for the Ontario native. Jade kicked off 2024 with his 3rd JUNO nomination for Country Album of the Year and just recently won 2024 Album of the Year at the CCMA Awards, after being named the 2023 CCMA Awards Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year. Jade’s 3rd album, Do It Anyway and single by the same name ft. Jake Worthington are available now.
